Adrian Popescu, MDDr. Popescu is a Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Anesthesiology and Critical Care (secondary) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is the Director of Spine Service for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the Program Director for the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine Fellowship, the Site Director for the Pain Medicine Fellowship at VAMC Philadelphia, and a core faculty for the Pain Medicine Division of the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Popescu completed his internship and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as Chief Resident, followed by a Pain Medicine fellowship with the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He fosters a special interest in trainees' education on spine disorders and pain medicine. Dr. Popescu serves on the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society's Evidence Analysis Committee, Instructor Development Committee, and Conflict of Interest Committee. |
