IPSIS Advises CDC on the Importance of Interventional Pain Treatments

On Tuesday, June 16th, the International Pain & Spine Intervention Society submitted comments ðŸ”’ to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) highlighting the important role of interventional treatments in the management of acute and chronic pain. The letter highlights the effectiveness of epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency neurotomy/ablation, neurostimulation, and vertebral augmentation in reducing pain, decreasing disability, and significantly improving quality of life.
