2026 Medicare Fee Schedule Preliminary Analysis

IPSIS members — your Calendar Year (CY) 2026 Proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule (MFPS) Preliminary Analysis is now available.

If finalized, the proposed provisions would go into effect on January 1, 2026, which include:

• a > 3% increase in the conversion factor,
  
• a cut in relative value units (RVUs) by 2.5% via an efficiency adjustment factor, and
  
• implementation of a new Ambulatory Specialty Model focused on low back pain.
