Verify the Accuracy of Your Industry-Reported Open Payments Data

IPSIS urges you to review what industry reported about you before the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) publishes its 2023 Open Payments data. Disputes must be initiated by December 31, 2024, to be reflected in the January 1, 2025, data publication. The CMS website shows data and records for “transfers of value” from industry that exceed $11 an item or $100 a year for smaller gifts. This data includes compensation that drug, device, biological, and medical supply manufacturers report that they have provided to physicians and teaching hospitals.
