Congratulations to the physicians recognized this year for their contributions to interventional pain medicine and IPSIS. We celebrated their achievements at the awards presentations in Boston at the IPSIS 2024 Annual Meeting.

Charles N. Aprill Lifetime Achievement Award

Congratulation to former IPSIS President Matthew Smuck, MD (pictured at center), who was presented with the Charles N. Aprill Lifetime Achievement Award by Founding Member Richard Derby, MD (on the left), and President Joshua Rittenberg, MD (on the right) at the IPSIS 2024 Annual Meeting in Boston. The Aprill Award is the highest distinction that IPSIS bestows. Recipients represent the most influential minds who have made a lasting imprint on the Society and the field.
