Humana Now Covering PNS for Medicare Advantage

Humana has revised its Medicare Advantage policy, withdrawing their categorical stance against coverage for peripheral nerve stimulators (PNS). While the revised policy does not fully align with the recommendations and supporting evidence provided to Humana by IPSIS and the Multisociety Pain Workgroup (MPW), it is anticipated that this revision will ensure patient access to these safe and effective treatments.
