Check Your Electronic Medicare Claims Submitted to Novitas on November 5, 2023

Novitas Solutions reports that electronic Medicare claims submitted on November 5, 2023, between 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM Eastern, were rejected in error and will need to be resubmitted.

Novitas’ error impacts all claims from Jurisdiction H (which includes Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Indian Health Service (IHS)/ Tribal / Urban Indian Facilities as well as Veterans Affairs) and Jurisdiction L (which includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia. For Part B services, JL also includes the Counties of Arlington and Fairfax in Virginia and the City of Alexandria in Virginia.)
