Support Prior Authorization Reform

Thursday, June 1, 2023

Please click here to insist that your Congressional Representative co-sign a “Dear Colleague” letter to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) urging CMS to finalize their proposed rule to improve the prior authorization process for physicians and their patients.

Due to overwhelming support from IPSIS and 118 other medical societies, House and Senate sponsors for this bill were inundated with Congressional colleagues who also wanted to support these reforms. The response has been so great that the sponsors have extended their sign-on deadline to June 9, 2023.

Prior authorization is not only an administrative nightmare; it’s a barrier to providing timely, patient-centered care. Let’s make sure your Congressional representatives get the message.

You can also help sustain this vital advocacy with your donations. The International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS) is a tax-exempt organization under US section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
