2022 Nikolai Bogduk Young Investigator Grant Recipient Announced

IPSIS is pleased to announce the recipient of the 2022 Nikolai Bogduk Young Investigator Grant — Guilherme Ferreira Dos Santos, MD. Dr. Dos Santos will be using the grant to fund a study exploring the effectiveness of different cervical medial branch radiofrequency neurotomy approaches in the treatment of zygapophysial joint osteoarthritis.

About the Nikolai Bogduk Young Investigator Grant
The Nikolai Bogduk Young Investigator Grant was established in 2017 and honors the continuing legacy of the internationally lauded Professor Nikolai Bogduk, a founding member of the Society and distinguished teacher and writer who has spent his career researching the anatomical basis, validity, and effectiveness of techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of spine pain and headache.
