Wednesday, August 17, 2022

Current Bid: $5,100

Do you love wildlife in their natural element and want an epic wildlife print to hang on your wall? Unless you have state of the art photo equipment and have invested the time mastering it, this silent auction item might be for you.

Through this silent auction, a member of the IPSIS interventional pain community will have a unique opportunity to spend five full days with Dr. Paul Dreyfuss as he shares his passion for wildlife photography while guiding you through Yellowstone National Park so you can obtain your own amazing wildlife images.

Dr. Dreyfuss is an IPSIS past president well known to members through his years of teaching, research, and state and national advocacy work. Owing to the depth of his accomplishments, he was given the Society’s highest honor, the Charles Aprill Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019. He is now retired, but brings the level of technical precision, passion, love of learning, mentoring, and attention to detail he possessed in his medical career to wildlife photography.

To learn more about Dr. Dreyfuss’ photography and the caliber of images he wants you to capture, visit https://pauldreyfuss.smugmug.com/ and follow him on Instagram.

Included in this once-in-a-lifetime experience are:

  • Optional pick up at Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport and transit to West Yellowstone or Gardiner, Montana.
  • 5 days, from sunrise to sunset or a more relaxed schedule per your request, of guided tours of the habitats of (depending on the season) badgers, bighorn sheep, bison, black bears, coyotes, eagles, foxes, great grey owls, grizzly bears, moose, osprey, pine marten, pronghorn, river otters, weasels, and wolves. You will be guided in Dr. Dreyfuss’ vehicle so you only have to relax and enjoy the experience.
  • Expert instruction on composition, light, and exposure settings, utilizing your own gear, and/or Dr. Dreyfuss’ ultra-high-performance kit that includes two of Sony’s flagship A1 cameras and a host of lenses from 24-1200 mm, gimbals, and tripods to take full advantage of even the most fleeting moments of wildlife and landscape beauty.
  • You and Dr. Dreyfuss will cull through your images to choose up to 20 of your best images to be processed by Dr. Dreyfuss after the trip. He will also professionally print 2 images of your choice up to 20 by 25 inches and mail them to you for your wall at home so that you can remember your experience forever.
  • One-on-one time with a pioneer in the interventional pain field and RFA guru.

You can choose to take this tour in one of three time periods: late January 2023, April 15-19, 2023, or late October 2023. Each time period has pros and cons that Dr. Dreyfuss can walk you through.

Other tours typically do not bundle hands-on instruction, access to top gear, post processing, and two professional prints. And nowhere else can you also factor in access to one of our own highly accomplished and respected minds.

This priceless experience has a fair market value of $3,000. The current bid is $5,100 and bids must be in $100 increments. Click here to enter your bid.
