Kate Sayeed, MD is Representing IPSIS at AMA HOD Meeting

Monday, June 13, 2022

Kate Sayeed, MD is representing IPSIS at the June 2022, American Medical Association (AMA) House of Delegates (HOD) meeting.

The AMA HOD establishes policy on health, medical, and professional matters so it is crucial that interventional pain medicine interests are represented. Our participation in the HOD also allows IPSIS to hold advisory seats with the CPT Editorial Panel and the RVS Update Committee (RUC) to ensure our voice is heard regarding important coding and reimbursement issues.

We urge all IPSIS members to hold an AMA membership to ensure that IPSIS can maintain its representative seats and that interventional pain medicine physicians’ interests are properly addressed.

You can also help sustain this vital advocacy with your donations. The International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS) is a tax exempt organization under US section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As such, contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
