Advise the CDC on Interventional Pain's Role in Curbing Opioid Use

Wednesday, April 6, 2022

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking comments on its proposed Clinical Practice Guideline for Prescribing Opioids by Monday, April 11, 2022. IPSIS submitted comments this week highlighting the value and evidence for specific interventional procedures.

Act now to help the CDC appreciate and acknowledge the important role interventional pain procedures play in reducing pain and improving function and quality of life for your patients by submitting your own comments here. Adding individual physician voices and patient stories to the effort can have an even greater impact in promoting the procedures that help patients avoid, reduce, and discontinue reliance on opioid therapy.
