IPSIS Joins AMA-Led Effort to Promote Use of CPT Code Set for Data Exchange Standards

The International Pain and Spine Intervention Society joined the AMA and more than 75 specialty societies in submitting a letter to the National Committee on Vital and Health Statistics (NCVHS) encouraging them to recommend to the Secretary of Health and Human Services the use of the CPT code set to ensure the efficient and effective exchange of electronic health related data under HIPAA.
