IPSIS Joins Call for HHS to Provide One Month of Revenue to Enrolled Physicians

On April 7, 2020, the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society joined the American Medical Association and nearly 150 other medical specialty societies and state medical associations in calling for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to exercise its discretion over disbursement of funds in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act to expeditiously provide one month of revenue to each physician enrolled in Medicare or Medicaid to account for financial losses and non-reimbursable expenses incurred due to the pandemic.
