The International Pain and Spine Intervention Society’s Scott Horn, DO, attended the American Medical Association (AMA) Current Procedural Terminology (CPT®) Editorial Panel meeting in San Francisco from February 6-8, 2020.
The Panel is charged with the development and revision of procedure codes mandated by the U.S. Federal government. It convenes meetings three times per year to solicit the direct input of practicing physicians, medical device manufacturers, developers of the latest diagnostic tests, and advisors from societies like IPSIS.

IPSIS holds a seat at this and other AMA forums by proving that a high percentage of our members also maintain membership in the AMA. IPSIS urges all members to maintain their AMA membership to assure that the voice of interventional pain specialists continues to be heard.
