IPSIS Suggest Changes to UnitedHealthcare Epidural Steroid & Facet Injections for Spinal Pain Policy

On April 18, 2019, IPSIS suggested revisions to UnitedHealthcare’s coverage policy on Epidural Steroid and Facet Injections for Spinal Pain. The Society’s comments address the proposed revision to limit the total number of lumbar epidural steroid injections to three per year regardless of level.
