Letter to Editor Regarding Chou et al. Review in Annals of Internal Medicine

Multisociety Pain Workgroup (MPW) societies are finalizing a letter to the editor addressing the recent systematic review and meta-analysis by Chou et al. published in the Annals of Internal Medicine several weeks ago. The review is authored by the same team that produced the AHRQ’s recent technology assessment on pain management injections for low back pain and presents the same data and conclusions — now in the peer reviewed literature.
