Dr. Kieran Slevin represented ISIS members at the AMA Relative Value Update Committee (RUC) on April 22-26, 2014. RUC is an advisory body to CMS and reviews medical procedures to provide value recommendations.

Dr. Scott Horn represented ISIS members at the CPT® Editorial Panel Meeting on May 15-16, 2014. Several coding issues of importance to ISIS members were discussed at the meeting.  

ISIS remains actively involved with both CPT® and RUC processes of the AMA. Our physician volunteers and staff representatives are present at every meeting to provide knowledgeable input and justification for proper values of interventional spine codes.
