ISIS Involved in a Value Survey of Neurostimulator Codes

A random sample of ISIS membership received an email requesting their participation in a survey of codes 95971/95971 (Analysis/Programming of Neurostimulator Pulse Generator). The Medicare payment schedule is based on physician work, practice expense, and professional liability insurance. The societies involved in this process need our members’ help to assure that relative values will be accurately and fairly presented to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). If you receive an AMA RUC Survey, it is extremely important that you take the time to provide invaluable information to us regarding the work, intensity, and risks involved with the procedure being surveyed.
