IPSIS Encourages Anthem Blue Cross to Cover Genicular Nerve RFA for Knee Osteoarthritis

On May 27, 2020, IPSIS submitted a comment letter to Anthem Blue Cross in support of coverage for radiofrequency ablation of the genicular nerves associated with knee osteoarthritis. The Society’s comments refute classification of these procedures as investigational and advocate for coverage in appropriately selected patients.
