Medicare Contractor Issues a Revised Facet Blockade Policy

Noridian Administrative Services (NAS) a Medicare contractor for 11 states has released a final version of a new/revised coverage determination on paravertebral facet joint blockade. The policy becomes effective on 11/26/2012. ISIS members are very strongly encouraged to review and follow all requirements for any Local Coverage Determination that pertains to the services they perform in order to stay in compliance.
