ISIS Continues to Advocate for Appropriate Reimbursement for Interventional Procedures - Submits Com

ISIS has submitted a comment letter to CMS regarding the interim value decisions for interventional codes published for year 2012. ISIS has been involved in advocating for appropriate values for these codes; which include occipital nerve injections, radiofrequency, neurostimulator, pump codes and more; by conducting membership surveys, presentations at the CPT Panel and the Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC) meetings; comment letters, and CMS refinement panel participation. The value decisions made by CMS for these codes are not acceptable and we will continue to provide input and work to assure appropriate reimbursement.
