Amanjeet Toor, MBChB

Dr. Amanjeet Toor is an instructor with the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society (IPSIS), where he is passionate about teaching evidence-based spinal interventional procedures to physicians worldwide.

A scholarship recipient in both Cambridge A Levels and his medical degree, Dr. Toor graduated from the University of Auckland in 2012 and began his career as a Surgical Orthopaedic Registrar before completing fellowship training in General Practice and Urgent Care, earning distinction in his fellowship exams. He then did a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Medicine. He holds postgraduate qualifications from the University of Otago, including a Postgraduate Diploma in Sports Medicine and a Postgraduate Diploma in Musculoskeletal Medicine, the latter awarded with distinction. Dr. Toor is among the few New Zealand doctors to have achieved three fellowship qualifications, reflecting his academic excellence and dedication to musculoskeletal health.

He has also undertaken advanced subspecialty training in Spine Interventional Pain Medicine under the guidance of Professor Nikolai Bogduk and Dr. Mark Johnston. Dr. Toor’s clinical practice bridges precision diagnostics with image-guided interventions for spinal and musculoskeletal pain. Outside of medicine, he enjoys running and tennis.
