Timothy Maus, MDDr. Maus graduated from Mayo Medical School in 1981, completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Mayo Graduate School of Medicine in 1985, and subsequently joined the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology. He completed a neuroradiology fellowship at Mayo in 1996 and is currently Professor of Radiology, Mayo Clinic School of Medicine. Dr. Maus founded a section within the Department of Radiology to provide image-guided pain management procedures in 1999. He has been a Mayo Teacher of the Year in radiology, the recipient of the Mayo Individual Award for Excellence, and the Carmen Award for Excellence in Clinical Practice in the Department of Radiology.Dr. Maus has authored numerous book chapters and peer-reviewed articles on spine imaging and interventions. He speaks regularly nationally, and internationally. He has served as the Chair of the IPSIS Education Division, Treasurer, and President of the Society. In anticipation of retirement from Mayo, he has relocated to Kihei, Hawaii but continues to generate web-based educational experiences for IPSIS. |
