Marc Maes, MD

Dr. Maes is a full-time pain clinician at AZJanPortaels, Vilvoorde in Belgium. He cares for patients with subacute and chronic pain, with special emphasis on cancer pain and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for back and neck pain. He is a certified Anesthesiologist since 1984 and Acute Medicine in 2003. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Practice in Budapest in 2002.

Dr. Maes has been a Spine Intervention Society member since 2004 and a board member of the Vlaamse Anesthesiologische Vereniging Pijnbestrijding (VAVP) since 2004. He enjoys walking, biking, tennis and reading.
