Hans J. Latta, MD

Dr. Latta graduated from Medical School at the University in Würzburg, Germany in 1987. He did his residencies at Ospidal d’Engiadina Bassa, Scuol, Switzerland, Stobhill General Hospital, Glasgow, Scotland, and Moffit Hospital, University of California. He then specialized in general surgery in Würzburg, Bayreuth and Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany. Then followed a fellowship in orthopedics and spine surgery at the Orthodedic Clinic of the Hessing-Stiftung in Augsburg, Germany with focus on minimally invasive spine surgery, endoscopic intervertebral disc surgery, intradiscal electric surgery, epidural catheter (Racz) and radiofrequency therapy. He was board-certified in orthopedics in 2000. In 2002 Dr. Latta specialized in orthopedic pain management in Munich. Then he was Head of the Department of Interventional Orthopedic Pain Management at the Orthopedic Hospital Vienna-Speising in Austria (Academic teaching hospital of the University of Vienna). He is a member of the teaching staff as associated professor at the University of Oradea, Romania since 2009.

In October 2011 Dr. Latta went into private practice and opened his Orthopedic Center for Pain Management in Bayreuth, Germany. He has been a member of the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society since 2005 and an instructor for this society for the past six years. He has been lecturing on orthopedic pain management since 2004.
