Jonathan Kirschner, MD

Dr. Kirschner was born, raised and currently resides in New York City. He is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine, and Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is a registered musculoskeletal sonographer. He completed his residency at the Kessler Institute and fellowship training at Orthopedic and Spine Specialists. He is currently an Associate Attending Physiatrist at the Hospital for Special Surgery, where he serves as Fellowship Director for the Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine and Sports Medicine fellowships and the Associate Director for the Center for Regenerative Medicine. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine where he teaches medical students and residents.

He is co-editor of Atlas of Image Guided Spinal Procedures 2 ed. and Atlas of Ultrasound Guided Musculoskeletal Injections. His research focus is on the outcomes of ultrasound and fluoroscopic-guided interventional procedures and regenerative medicine treatments.

He is a team physician for USA Soccer and enjoys mountain biking, cooking, and fermentation.
