David G. Hollifield, MDDr. Hollifield is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine and was the Chief Resident of PM&R at the University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He has served as Assistant Professor of PM&R at the University of Cincinnati Hospital Dept. of PM&R and as the director of the Brain Injury Program at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Since moving to Atlanta, Dr. Hollifield has been an associate professor at Emory University at The VA Medical Center in Atlanta and has been the Medical Director of Emory Eastside Medical Center’s inpatient rehabilitation unit. He has been an ASIPP member and both Vice President and Treasurer of the Georgia Society of Interventional Pain Physicians. He has been an Instructor for the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society since 2004 and is currently a Master Instructor. He serves on the IPSIS Instructor Development and Ultrasound Committees. He has been a solo pain management practitioner for 20 years and works in the Atlanta area as a contractor for an orthopedic practice doing fluoroscopic and US-guided pain interventions and EMG/nerve conduction studies. |
