Lauren A. Chambers, DO, RMSK

Lauren A. Chambers, DO, RMSK, is an interventional physiatrist specializing in the treatment of spine, nerve, and musculoskeletal disorders. She practices evidence-based, patient-centered medicine using a biopsychosocial approach, electrodiagnostics, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, minimally invasive spine procedures, and regenerative medicine.

She received her medical degree from The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, WV. She completed her internship at Danville Regional Medical Center in Danville, VA, and her residency at Carolinas Rehabilitation in Charlotte, NC. She subsequently trained at OSS Health in York, PA, where she completed her fellowship in interventional spine and sports medicine and served as Chief Fellow. She is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (ABPMR) and Registered in Musculoskeletal Ultrasonography (RMSK).

Physiatry Now featured her as a Leader in Physiatry. She has chaired medical conferences and teaches neuromusculoskeletal ultrasound to other physicians. She also has multiple peer-reviewed publications and chapter authorships and is an editor of a forthcoming interventional atlas. Professional service has included participation in the IPSIS Membership and Ultrasound committees, WIPM Education Committee, ABPMR oral board examiner, AANEM Recognition for Fellowship Committee, AANEM PMR Taskforce, AOCPMR NMSK US Conference Chair, and the AOCPMR Executive Council during her time as the President of the Resident Council.
