Tina Molumphy, MD

Dr. Molumphy did her undergraduate degree in Biopsychology at the University of California Santa Barbara. Her medical degree was from Tulane University, where she graduated with Alpha Omega Honors in 1995. She did an Internal Medicine internship at St. Mary’s Hospital in San Francisco, where she was awarded Intern of the Year in 1996. She followed that with a residency at Stanford University in Physiatry and was named Academic Chief Resident in her second year. She was double-boarded in Physiatry (2001) and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (2003).

She worked in a small physiatry practice for 20 years, practicing musculoskeletal, chronic pain, electrodiagnostic medicine, and spine intervention. In 2020 she joined Golden State Orthopedics South Bay division, where she is building the interventional spine program. Currently, she focuses on spine intervention and electrodiagnostic medicine. She has been a member of the International Pain and Spine Intervention Society since 2012.

Dr. Molumphy has made work-life balance a priority in her life, making room in her career for family, volunteer work, and community. She enjoys outdoor physical conditioning, such as tennis and hiking. She volunteers regularly at Stanford Hospital and University with her dog, decreasing stress for both patients and students.
